All Day Slay – An LGBTQ+ Festival

All Day Slay is set to be our largest event to date, featuring a variety of LGBTQ+ centric artists in music and art.

The proceeds raised from ticket sales both online and on the day will this time be split between Mermaids, LGBT Foundation and our friend Otto’s top surgery.

And if you’re a musician yourself, feel free to jump on stage during the interval where artists will be encouraged to jam out together and / or perform any originals or covers.

Doors open at 7pm and the gig will be hosted @AATMA in Manchester’s Northern Quarter

The Ocean New, High Sobriety

NOTE: Supera Morza are no longer playing at this event. Please email dominic@aatma.zone if you require a refund because of this.

This night promises to be a terrific showcase of loud and big-sounding guitar bands. The Ocean New are accomplished explorers into the instrumental cinematic post-rock sounds that bring to mind bands such as Mogwai, Oceansize, and Explosions in the Sky. The band are recording in July so keep your eyes peeled for their releases later this year.

Brand new band High Sobriety will be opening for the evening. The energetic band explores classic rock sounds and is fronted by two harmonising female vocalists.

Artemis, The Iris Division, Blind Spot.

Artemis have been appearing in several Manchester venues over the last year, and have put out a number of singles and, most recently in December 2022, their first EP, ‘Disconnected’. Thoughtful and considered lyrics are accompanied by lush and catchy instrumentation. Have a listen at the link below. The band seem to be riding a creative wave and are already planning their upcoming release ‘Letdown’.

The Iris Division are a very new band who promise to present a colourful and trippy aesthetic. There will be flutes, there will be guitars, there will be drums. Set your mycelium coordinates here.

We also welcome Blind Spot to the Aatma stage. The band made their debut appearance at a packed-out Retro Bar at the beginning of May. Expect frenetic 70s-inspired riffing and impassioned vocals.
