Late Night Open Jam

Every Thursday 11pm – 3am from the 19th of Sept 2024.

We’ve been playing around with the idea of having a late night jam night for quite a while. There are tons of musicians and artists using the rehearsal rooms and performing at Aatma and The Peer Hat, so it makes sense to finally put on a night where people can come together and see where the music takes them. We’re not aiming for any particular styles or genres of music to be created. Everyone is welcome, from expert musicians to beginners. Singers, poets and experimental sound artists are also welcome.

Bring your own instrument or use the in-house bass, guitar, keyboard, drums, or congas.

Since this is a late night, we have to cover door security and the venue hire. A £4 entrance fee will be charged. Donations to keep the night going will be very much appreciated. You can also buy a ticket in advance for £3

Aatma Jam, The Return

Jam impresario Keiran returns to Manchester for a few days and has organised an Aatma jam night. These were frequent happenings earlier this year. All types of musicians are welcome, from beginners to seasoned veterans. Bring your own instrument or use the in-house bass, guitar, keyboard, drums, or congas. Singers and poets are also welcome.

Northern Air Hospital Radio – Fundraiser Gig

Join us for a night packed full of good tunes and good vibes!

Musicians from in and around Manchester will be performing to help raise funds for Northern Air Hospital Radio (first launched in 1960) which lost its studio due to renovations.

Not only will you get to watch some jaw-dropping acts, there’ll also be plenty of prizes up for grabs!

And if you’re a musician yourself, feel free to jump on stage during the interval where artists will be encouraged to jam out together and / or perform any originals or covers.

Doors open at 7pm and the gig will be hosted @AATMA in Manchester’s Northern Quarter
