Calling all Babooshkas, Army Dreamers and Rubberband Girls! Put on your Red Shoes, saddle up the Hounds Of Love and get Running Up That Hill back to the Top Of The City (aka Aatma in Manchester) for a night dedicated to the genius of the iconic Kate Bush! And we’re counting it as a sort of “Happy Birthday Kate” party, as her birthday is on 30th July, so it’s near as dammit! • HEADS WE’RE DANCING: We’ll be doing the Jig Of Life and Moving around the dancefloor to all of Kate’s best singles, album tracks and collaborations, all interspersed with Moments Of Pleasure from complimentary artists such as Tori Amos, Fleetwood Mac, Florence + The Machine, Eurythmics & Annie Lennox, David Bowie, Bjork, Pet Shop Boys and more! • CLOUDBUSTING: We’ll be creating an authentic atmosphere for Them Heavy People through an overuse of smoke machines to accompany the free Kate face masks, Kate lyric posters and Kate capes (yes, CAPES!) that we’ll be giving away on a first come, first served basis on the night! • WOW: Dressing up is positively encouraged as we’ll be having ‘Bush-offs’ during the night, where lucky contestants will be invited onto our stage to lip-sync for their lives to selected songs from the Bush back catalogue, with prizes for the ultimate King Of The Mountain! • EAT THE MUSIC: And we’ll be playing Kate’s iconic debut single Wuthering Heights on the hour, every hour (alternating both versions)!

HMS Morris are a bilingual, award-winning, female-fronted art-rock four-piece from Cardiff, Wales. Supported by the esteemed Bubblewrap Collective (Georgia Ruth, Boy Azooga, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzzard, Sweet Baboo), their first two critically acclaimed albums, ‘Interior Design’ and ‘Inspirational Talks,’ were both Welsh Music Prize nominees and variously described as ‘Innovative, forward thinking pop music’ (Earthly Pleasures), ‘strange and beautiful music’ (Electronic Sound) and a ‘multi-dimensional sound that traipses across hitherto unexplored regions of sound’ (Clash)’. They’ve earned a reputation for their innovative and multi-dimensional sound that pushes boundaries and explores uncharted territories.

They’re now still basking in the warm glow that accompanied the release of their third studio album, ‘Dollar Lizard Money Zombie,’ on September 15th this year. It is a playful repudiation of the worldview that reduces 99% of us to braindead money zombies, labouring for the glorious empires of a few giant dollar lizards. It is the first HMS album to feature Billy Morley and Iestyn Huw Jones on guitar and drums, and ranges from 50s cowboy sweetness to electro-metal madness, from rambling acoustic prog to the tightest of synth-pop ditties. The album takes listeners on a thought-provoking journey, infused with the band’s signature wit and humour, showcasing their ability to blend profound introspection with lighthearted storytelling.
Their mesmerising live performances have delighted audiences across the globe, gracing renowned festivals like Green Man, Glastonbury, Sŵn, Suns and Pop Montreal.
