A-TOTA-SO × POPTONES, with support from TRUNCHEON and TÜNG

Welcome to the first installment of the PCP end of year showcase!

To kick it all off, we have Nottingham legends A-Tota-So:
a-tota-so are a noisy rock band based in the UK, they write music inspired by grunge, mathrock and post hardcore and love to get guest vocalists to join them live and have worked with 80 different guests so far (and counting)

Also sometimes written as atotaso , it’s kinda like “I told you so” – dumb name, big riffs!

They’ve just released two new belting singles earlier in the year, “Death Rattle” and “Form of Mass”, following their upcoming album release in September “I Told You So”.
You can listen to them here:

POPTONES, are an alt-rock band from Copenhagen, with a mixture of dulcet tones and eerie vocals at times, then into hard hitting noise and distorted vox. It’s like listening to a theatre production of a descent into madness. We’re all here for it. They’re out and about touring with the A-Tota-So lads, so if Marty reckons they’re the dog’s bollocks, then you’re surely in for a good show.

TRUNCHEON
You’ve seen these lads a couple of times now, but as they’re fairly new (and brilliant), it’s only fair to put them on and push them as much as possible. If you want alt-rock/grunge, with a hint of prog, this is the band to see.

We’re expecting an EP out later in the year, so keep your ears peeled for that.

TÜNG
These two chaps are a sight to see, instrumental math-rock, with only banjo and drums, so they’ll fit right in with the roster of bands on for the night.
They’ve just released a three track EP, which you can listen to here:

Quality mixed lineup, everything from doom, hardcore to experimental noise and post-hardcore via grind. Bands from all around the UK and touring band from France on the bill 🖤
I am really excited to announce a benefit for the Booth Centre who work tirelessly to help those affected by homelessness. I have been there to see the good work that they do and will continue working with them going forward. They provide hot meals, resources and information, classes such as therapy through philosophy, discussions, poetry etc. I cannot praise them enough!!
