To celebrate their new AATMA residency, The Molehill have gathered an extremely eclectic bunch of musicians to cut the red ribbon.
The Faith Estate, Yer Uncle, Rareboy & Capsule, all under one roof, all raising said roof. This is not one to miss.
The Faith Estate are a 6-piece outfit originating from the East Midlands taking inspiration from classic bands such as The Fall, The Stooges & The Velvet Underground.
Yer Uncle, fresh with a new lineup, declined the opportunity to include a bio in this event description- ”Biographies are Yakubian trickery” says Mister Pears, their newest member.
Capsule

Spring 2025 sees the UK’s Amplifier release their 8 th studio album GARGANTUAN
and a return to playing live shows following a hiatus since 2019. This tour –
Amplifier’s first ever as a two-piece – proves that their passion for the core activity of
making music is clearly undiminished.
“Our main value is just do what you love for the love of it. If you do that, then
anything that comes along with it is just a bonus.”
The pared-down two-piece line-up sees Amplifier come full circle in a story of
survival for two musicians linked only by chance and friendship for over 30 years.
“There was never a masterplan. When we first started, it literally was just me and
Matt. We spent almost two years just playing together as non-jazz, ex-music
students in Manchester in the early ’90s. Back then ‘space rock’, if you like, didn’t
really exist anymore. There wasn’t much of a market for the long improvisational
jams that we were doing… way before even Mogwai existed.”
Since those formative times Amplifier have gone on to spawn many rock classics
and a cult like following of fans around the world that continues to grow day by day.
Always uplifting and optimistic, the glory of the riff is something to be celebrated
Expect to climb aboard the good spaceship Amplifier and ride the titanic waves and
grooves of triumph.
