Hep to the Hive 2025 Midnight Party

We’re buzzing like bees (the symbol of Manchester) to welcome you back for our second Hep to the Hive weekend, along with internationally acclaimed teachers Trisha Sewell, Clàudia Fonte & Cat Foley, and a whole host of northerners.

VENUES
Our main venue for the weekend, is again the Hallé St. Peter’s rehearsal facility; in a beautifully converted church in the former warehouse district of Ancoats. The location overlooks a piazza, surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants. Some classes will be in nearby St. Michael’s, which is on the next street along.
Tip: Don’t try to do everything! We want you to have a fun weekend, save some energy for our parties, and have a chance to see some of our vibrant city. It’s not cheating to allow some chill time in the morning, or to cherry pick a handful of classes.
CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
The names of teachers and performers are correct at the time of booking. Swing North reserves the right to make substitutions if required, should those named become unavailable for any reason whatsoever.
In attending this event, you agree to read and adhere to The Swing North Manifesto.
All rights of admission are reserved, and you may be asked to leave the event, if deemed necessary by the organisers; without a refund.
As a volunteer led non-profit organisation, we do not have the resources to process refunds, sorry. You may though sell your ticket at face value, and forward the booking email to the buyer. Please watch out for scammers though!

Open Till Late Club Night

Here we come for our 3rd instalment of open till late! We have sourced a wide variety of DJs across the UK and manchester for this one and is defo not one to miss! Hit our RSVP in our bio to come through!

Im a multigenre DJ based in manchester i take large influence from Fourtet, overmono and Jor orbinson expect a set with movement through genres and quick suprises!

Engineer

Nottingham based DJ. I mix everything underground but I’ll focus on garage, 140 and 4×4 bassline for this set.

Suz

originally from manchester bigfatsuz has big fat tunes playing a mix of garage and breaks !

Teledubs

Teledubs – Manchester based collective pushing the sounds of the underground club scene. We’re gonna be bringing u an hour of all things bass n breaks from electro to baile!

KD22LR

Hailing from South Manchester, KD22Lr is a DJ and radio presenter that is all about the dance. Unbound by a single genre, a KD22Lr set is always an experience. Her selections flow between uk bass, funky house and niche electronic deep cuts!

Top Floor Studio Available on Monday Nights

The top-floor studio with mirrors is now available to hire on Mondays from 6pm to as late as 11pm. This is one of the few spaces in Manchester city centre which has a dance floor and full-sized mirrors. The hire fee will be between £65 and £75, depending on your time slot and requirements. These evening slots don’t become available very often, so please get in touch if you are thinking of starting a dance class or workshop. Please note: we already have two life drawing classes per week so we will not be looking to host another one. Please email studiobeemcr@gmail.com to arrange a viewing.
