LUTE (Single Launch), Kanteen, Manalishi & Breaking Colts Live!
April 17 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
LUTE/Kanteen/Manalishi/Breaking Colts are proud to bring you a night of awesome rock and alternative noise at Manchester’s intimate AATMA venue!
LUTE are a four piece progressive Rock/Metal band from Manchester who contrast heavy layered guitars and changing time signatures with soaring vocal harmonies and quiet acoustic moments to create an epic soundscape that brutalises then soothes.
LUTE’s self-produced debut album, Learning Through Progression, picked up dedicated supporters in specialist rock press.
In 2019 LUTE released debut single FEARS, followed up by second single Victims of The Fall.
LUTE will launch their 3rd single ‘Dead & Buried’ at this much anticipated event!
“A unique sound, a form of art, this band is a well oiled machine.” – All About The Rock
‘Living proof that prog rock is not dead’ – Bob Leggett LA Music Critic
Post rockers Kanteen are back in their 3rd incarnation! – now a 4 piece! Gonna be bringing you some big hitters from their 2 EPs + 2 unreleased bangers!
Essentially a garage/grunge band, Kanteen also have a leaning towards alternative, more progressive arrangements and experimental noise. With a collosal live sound, Kanteen are melodic and engaging as well as powerful and dynamic.
Manalishi are a guttural plethora of raw energy, F*** you attitude, and scruffy hair. Consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist Dom Strett, bassist Josh Urpi, and drummer Luke Moloney; they concentrate on their music leaving your ears ringing, and a persistent scratchy feeling in the back of your throat.
With a crunching fusion of grungey, noisy, punk rock; and a disillusion for the conventional, they merge captivating melodies with a rib-punching wall of sound and melancholic chords, complete with unpolished, squealing guitars, and the disgusting scars to prove it.
“A fast and furious ball of ferocity and energy, Manalishi hit you for six, batter you throughout and leave you reeling at the end of their entirety.” – Louder Than War
Breaking Colts sound more like your own inner demon, that pleasure driving nihilist living somewhere at the bottom of your gut. Watching these two Mancunians is to be lost forevermore.
“They are the loudest band I have seen in years and the experience was not unlike standing infront of a sonic Jet engine for half an hour.”
