Ecotronica Presents Tom Jarmey on Thursday 14th April 2022

April 14 @ 11:00 pm - April 15 @ 4:00 am

Join Ecotronica as it continues to grow the sound by showcasing its debut event in one of Northern Quarter quirkiest clubs. Expect a unique rave experience as you explore multiple genres throughout the dynamic night. The evening will explore sounds from feel good house to rough and ready breaks. Exhibiting some Manchester best talent, the event will be bringing you Tom Jarmey and two up and coming Disk Jockeys in Painting of Birds and Baron Pablo. This night promises to be one of the most exhilarating of the year.

Manchester based Tom Jarmey (aka Ocean Stirs and one half of Mother Of Pearls) blends ambient and jungle to create a deeply emotive yet hard-hitting sound. Since launching his project in 2018, the Wiltshire-born producer has seen a variety of releases on a string of notable labels, including EPs on Holding Hands, Dansu Discs, Banoffee Pies and his debut LP on Lobster Theremin. Alongside his releases, Jarmey has brought his eclectic taste to the DJ scene in cities throughout the UK including his own coveted club night Wax Villainy in Manchester. After a recent mix for Bicep’s Feel My Bicep podcast and a new residency on Balamii radio, Jarmey is set up to grow his creative endeavors further in 2022 by launching his own imprint, Wing Theory, and meaningfully expanding his tour footprint.

Together Painting of Birds and Baron Pablo bring an inimitable offering as they provide fresh talent to the night. Painting of Birds who recently played at Proper Manchester will be equipping us with some hard-hitting breakbeat sounds. Baron Pablo who has considerable experience in the Leeds area through working with Dance Without issues, will be providing us with vibrant lo-fi house sounds to start the night of a lifetime.

This night must not be missed, and will set you up for the Bank holiday that will never be forgotten.
