AMF /w Mike O’Mara & Pangölin
September 4 @ 11:00 pm - September 5 @ 4:00 am
Who remembers dancing? It was class, right?
I’m not talking about the Friday nights on Zoom, chair dancing with your mum whilst drinking a Bud Light.
I’m talking about a proper sweaty, tops-off, club night.
Pingered up debates in the smoking area.
Fag ash in your red stripe.
Shitting yourself in the toilets.
Maybe not the last two but you know what I’m getting at.
Fist pumping, decent music, and good friends. It’s not asking a lot but, well, let’s just put it this way, it’s been a while.
A club night has been on the cards at AMF for a while and a month after exiting lockdown (fingers crossed) seems the best time to throw our first party.
Yeah, I know, it’s fucking ages away but we’re all going to be getting booked up pretty fast as things start opening up so get this in the calendar soon.
We’re so excited for the clubs to re-open that this night’s on us too.
Free entry for all, see you front left yeah!
Mike O’Mara – A purveyor of warm, analog house music Mike is no stranger to rocking a party. Whether it’s the Aatma attic room or the Soup Kitchen basement Mike’s DJ career spans 20 years and he’s played alongside some of the industry’s big wigs including Kerri Chandler and Joe Caussell.
Mike was a founder of the Manchester club night Inside Out and is a radio regular on the city’s digital airwaves. More recently he’s working with Foy & Szajna as one third of Alga-Rhythms.
You can find out more about Mike and listen to the mix he did for AMF over on our website:
Pangölin – Resident DJ at Mixing Mates Pangölin is known for eclectic Italo tipped tune selection and peak time party sets. Expect everything from techno, bitter sweet house tunes, and disco edits. She always brings the heats and will be sure to get the Aatma dance floor moving.
You can listen to the mix she did for AMF and catch the interview we did with her over on the website:
Rounding off the lineup are the All My Friends Residents. Banging
