Laybourne Presents… Sound of the Peaks

Following the release of Laybourne’s melodic techno journey “Sound of the Peaks”, watch him perform his original music live along with special guests.

Laybourne makes his live debut hosted at Aatma, Manchester on June 1st. On the first day of summer, you will see him showcase his melodic techno release “Sound of the Peaks” scheduled to come out in May. The local producer has been working on his sound for the past 5 years and has built up a vast catalogue of material that finally deserves its time on the dance floor. Come join a celebration of a genre of music that is rare round these parts…

Joining Laybourne are three other extremely talented and experienced producers/DJs: Callum Griffiths, Alex McGarry & OTILL. They will all bring their own unique styles and sound to this melodic journey.

Step into a world where music transcends boundaries and where art defies limitations.

Magnetic North returns with its first ever event in Manchester.

Back to basics. 150 cap’ venue in the Northern Quarter. Haze heavy, lights low and bass l o u d ‘til the early hours.

Dyslecta [Gated recordings / Out of Sorts / Dim Sum records] has long been building a reputation amongst underground channels and bass music enthusiasts. We know him as a wicked DJ as well as a top tier producer, a creative mind, and an everlasting spirit. Establishing himself as a household name in Newcastle, he now plays in clubs up and down the country. A deep passion for sound and talented in spanning multiple genres with tenuous links and energetic cohesion.

LARA [B.L.O.O.M] was put on our radar a few years back after cultivating a name for herself in Manchester and as a resident of B.L.O.O.M. Last summer, we saw her play a flawless set at Plot 22 in Sheffield, for asis, supporting Fio Fa. She’s also shared the stage with the likes of Aurora Halal, Lena Willikens, Vindya and Club Fitness. Lara continues to flourish whether it be in the club or live on radio for Manchester’s very own, STEAM. Get t’ know and get down for the bounce.

The venue is a perfect size for the rave feel we are after but enough room to breathe. The bar is opposite the stage so you will not miss any of the heat that is going to be dropped all night
